Based on the technical definition (i.e. "sustained period of weak or negative growth in real GDP (output) that is accompanied by a significant rise in the unemployment rate."), it would appear so. So what does this mean for rates, real estate and the economy?

Every year, March pulls the rug out from underneath me.  After decades of living here, the third month of the year is still a tease in Ontario.  Just when I dare to put my pasty feet into sandals, it hails "unexpectedly."  Mother Nature has a wicked sense of humour.  So while we wait for Spring to peek her petals out, I like to bring some green indoors.  It gives just the lift to my home to get me through these blah shoulder months and take the edge off all the dead, brown grass outside.

This winter has brought record levels of snow Southern Ontario. There have already been periods of melting and then re-freezing and the spring promises to bring more cyclical weather with it. Not only does the changeable weather hamper your ability to get around safely, it can also have a real impact on your home.

When it comes to staging kids’ rooms we typically have a lot of fun getting creative and try to make the space an exciting one (especially when it’s an actual child’s room, not just a spare room that we are making look like a kid space). We both have 2 kids, one boy and one girl each, so we’re fortunate that we can draw on real life experience regarding how kids of both sexes would like their bedroom to be decorated. We’ve staged a ton of girls rooms from toddler to teenager, and we’ve done quite a few little boy rooms, but we had yet to tackle a teenage boys bedroom until recently.
